Greetings, all. I have a '97 9000 cse, with an ignition lock problem. The key will not turn in the ignition at all. The key goes in fine, but no amount of jiggling, tapping, lubing, etc will get it to turn out of the lock position. I have tried both keys for the vehicle, and both work fine in the doors, but just won't turn the ignition. The steering wheel was not locked at first, but is now in locked position after I wiggled it while trying to turn the key. I think I may have to replace the ignition lock cylinder- thinking maybe a tumbler issue- but since I can't turn the key at all, the internal release (the one inside the hole on the side of the cylinder) won't operate. Any suggestions for getting the cylinder out? Thanks in advance.
