I love the look of the wooden shift knobs. However, my research indicates that they only fit '93-98 9000, and some '92 depending on chassis number. Has anyone fitted these to a 9000 older than '92?
There was a wooden shift knob for my 86, I had one (and a very nice Momo wheel that SAAB used to supply as an option). Dunno is the design changed and can't imagine why it would. The shift knob used to just snap on and off. A circlip engages in a groove in the shift lever. It can be quite hard to get it off.
