Possible leak of washer fluid tank ?

Hi all,

I have a minor slow oil drip under the car so I've been keeping a large aluminum roast pan under to catch the oil.

Twice in the past 6 weeks I saw what looks like an accumulation of clear fluid in the pan mixed with the oil. Concerned, I checked the levels of all other fluids (coolant expansion tank, brake, steering, tranny) and they all looked normal. From that I deduce it's the washer fluid tank that's leaking, and somehow the water channels its way towards the middle of the car and just happens to drip down into the pan. However the tank doesn't appear to have leaked catastrophically as I haven't seen the "empty" light in the dash come on (I usually keep the WF tank filled anyway).

Does this sound similar to anyone else's experience ? IIRC the WF tank leak is common amongst 9000s. Any other possible sources of leakage ?
