Accelerating onto the highway today car was boosting along fine, then I heard a pop and all of a sudden no boost. The boost gauge stayed in the white and would only go as far as the start of the orange area (which I assume is atmospheric pressure). I pulled off and checked the vacuum lines (sillicone), which were all attached. I was thinking the BOV burst, but the car was still running fine but with no boost. This thread seems to suggest the car would run poorly if that happened. Now I am thinking it could be the wastegate actuator, will I be able to see easily if that is the problem?
Luckily it was just a loose hose clamp, problem solved.
I am in the market for a 900 now also, and I have a Carfax account through February if anyone needs reports. PM me.
