I have to write something in here or else the filters won't let me post. Basically the project and all of the info on this car is located elsewhere and I can't update two threads at once so just follow the links at the top.

Still left to do...

- repair rust
- clean out and repaint wheelarches
- restore and powder coat control arms and assoicated
- sort out springs and shocks
- restore and powder coat rear axel
- clean and seal under-body
- sort out sexy looking valve cover
- make wiring loom
- refit glass
- refit interior
- build-in the car computer
- custom dashboard
- fit steering rack
- fit bumpers and wheel-arch extensions

- intake manifold still to be completed

Items / services to buy...

- making of custom downpipe
- exhaust system
- turbo
- wiring loom products
- get glass tinted
- get wheels refurbished
- chargecooler
- sensors
- tyres
- radiator
- electric steering system
- carpet
- new steering wheel
- speakers
- engine mounts
- clutch
- radiator hoses

So that little list (and I'm sure I've forgotten a couple of things) I'm going to be busy for the next year or so...! I'm going to be working on the important things first though. So all the stuff that enables it to become drivable takes priority.

Bought a turbo, got a welding kit and also bought the trim for refitting the glass. So things are moving on.

16saabs did a nice red one for me - ask him if you don't want to do yourself. He has a black one on he-bay now also.

I do have a buffing wheel and buffing soap and all that stuff so I can probably do a DIY on it.
