Can anyone confirm what type/grade oil to use for an old 99 gearbox?

I'm used to the later ones where engine oil is the norm, is this OK for a '75?

Yes my 99 is back on the road since I fixed the headgasket, only took me an afternoons work too..

My owners manual says EP oil SAE 75 in accordance with API-GL-4 or API-GL-5. Of course this is for '73. Can't seem to find it in Haynes, it just says the capacity is 3 litres but doesn't say what type.....

The owner's manual for my '76 EMS says "EP oil SAE 75 in accordance with API-GL-5"

The haynes manual suggests "Castrolite"

Don't know if it applies to 99 gearboxes too, but 900 owners have had good results with Honda MTF transmission oil.
