It will depend on what type of gauge you get, Autometer is the most common. I used a cup pod to install mine and I thought it looked good.
Eric's Boost Gauge (http://www.lehigh.edu/~erp4/saab/Upgrades/BoostGauge.html) Some prefer an integrated pod which you can see here.
Slaab's Boost Gauge (http://www.sounddomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=238210&page=7)

I got one from an Excursion. But I had to heat up the bottom and shape to fit the pillar.
Cost me $30

Felbie----> For my car I tryied the eclipse gauge pod and it didn't work. It only fit on one side and didn't go around the bend.

squishmann----> To tell you the truth, its not that hard, took me like around 10 minutes. I just floated it over a stove top and a distance and molded it. But im sure a local import performance shop could find someone that does it.

i'm sure fitting it on there is no problem but i would be clueless in actually hooking it up

It just takes time. The end result you will like. If you need help just ask, its quite easy.
