what is a good price for a used 99 viggen with 52000 miles on it with a few small scratches and door dings, good mechanical condition, and very good interior? book value is close 19-20 but what should i expect to pay and what would u pay?

$18,000-$20,000

That's pretty dead on.

In the northeast US - 99 Viggens with around 50K miles are bing listed between $17K and $20K.

If you find the right seller, I imagine you could pick one up for around $16K with a little bit of negotiating.

There's a 2000 Viggen vert on eBay, 29K mi., in KY. Looks decent. He's got a Buy It Now of $26,900 :o . 2 hrs. left and it's at 20K, don't think he's gonna hit his reserve.
Also a 5-dr.Viggen, same yr. and mi. in OH, 3 hrs. and it's at 23K, hasn't hit reserve yet either.

I'd say those folks are a little too proud of their rigs  But I'd also say you got a whale of a deal, Felbie. Good going.

I saw one live for the first time at a dealership in Exeter, NH today. Silver with 45K Mi. Loved it. Thought the price was a little steep IMO though $24K.
