i want to replace the chrome strip on the bumper this weekend but do not have access to a ramp. is this an easy job to do and do i try from the engine bay or underneath? i tried with the rear one once but it was a nightmare with the car on level ground
can i do this without taking off the bumper? sorry if this appears on page 1 of the Haynes manual but I can't find mine......thanks!!

The chrome strip is held at the ends by a metal clip. I think you know that if you have done the rear. Don't know how much access without removing the bumper. It will be a PITA if you need to remove it. The air dam is also screwed to the bumper.

I see halfords have a stick on job, and wondered what it would be like fitted, and how long it would last. And, I figured that job would be a pita, hence why I've not bothered (yet).

I replaced mine on the front and rear bumpers on the 3.0 V6 with this from Ebay, i did not bother with the clips as it is self adhesive and i just stuck an extra inch through the hole either side, it looks the same and has lasted perfectly, and i have enough to do the other V6 too.

I agree with microcat36... go with the stick-on strip and don't mess with the clips
