Alright trivia buffs. What was the first SAAB introduced to the US and when?

Edit: I THINK the 93 introduced in April of '56... can anyone verify that I'm reading this correctly?

I have this http://video.google.com/videoplay? [...] 497&q=saab (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3514151546403370497&q=saab)and it says it was in 1950 in the Port of Boston .we can see many 93 and 94 too.
Is the Date wrong ? Difficult to say...

On the contrary, it is very easy to say that the date is wrong since the 93 didn't come out until 1956. On top of this, the 94 (sonett super sport) footage is clearly shot in Sweden (notice the driving on the left, plus i recognise the terrain - it's close to where I live). And, at the end of the film where they show track racing, even 96 sports are visible which puts it in the 60s.

The sonett footage is shot on ordinary open roads in the Trollhättan area. Still looks pretty much the same, except we drive on the right now! :)
