Have a question regarding the installation, here is what i ordered.

I noticed on the airbox there is 2 hoses that go into this (one on top and one on bottom side of airbox. On the new intake there is only one place to put the hose at the top but not at the bottom. What do you do with the other hose? I must admit, I am completely dumb when it comes to repair and stuff on autos (im a computer techie by trade). It does seem easy enough to do myself but want to be very clear before tackling this. Thanks for the feedback.

Take everything under the rubber hose out. You will need to get behind the grill to take out the snorkel, and removing the turn signal will help get the top of the airbox. The open filter attaches right to the rubber elbow, and attaches to one of the spots the stock airbox was fixed to (you'll see it when it's out).

Heres a guide, its not that hard, just have to get out the old air box out and replace it with the new filter.

The tube on the bottom is just a "snorkel" that sucks in air from behind the grill. Since you will have your open air filter sucking from in front of the wheel well instead, you will want to remove this with the airbox.

i gotcha, so when people are talking about adding a splash guard they are talkin about covering the hole where the snorkel was?

No the slash guard covers the large hole where the airbox was ;)

Nope just remove the snorkel, let the air flow to the radiator instead ;)
