The new 9-3 convertible, while testing. Can't say much yet because of the camouflage, but it looks kind of like the previous model. I wouldn't have thought it'd be so thick at the back. I hope it turns out to be thinner.

Interesting - The rear boot size may be to create more trunk space on convertibles, as current designs fall far short. Overall, the lines/curves are similar to a certain Bavarian range of vehicles, though many manufacturers are jumping on that shape bandwagon.

Rough as the un-Saabish prototype may be, I see a beautiful Saab in the making. I think/hope this would take some of the wind out of BMW's sails, beat them at their own design game, and convert many to Saab ownership/appreciation.
