Anyone know what would happen if you threw an Aero ECU into a stock(pretty much) '99 9-5? Would it raise the boost levels slightly or do nothing?

It wouldn't run very well. Its different software designed to work with the Mitsu TD-04 turbo/air intake.

I have couble months AeroŽ ecu and GT17 before i changed it in Mitsu.
It work great and run fast:D

If the stock car is a 2.0 the Aero ECU will overfuel it, or be strangled by the wrong injectors surely :confused:

Hej !

My best advice is; do not run an Aero ECM on your GT17 equipped engine.
There is quite a difference between the two engines.

I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts about an Aero ECM in a 2.3 lpt engine, equipped with a Mistu TD04 turbo?

hi again,

fogot to say, if you put a td04 on a 2.3 eco, aero software will work find, as long as the car is a twin lambda type as all aeros are twin lambda. if its an early 2.3 with just one lambda aero software will bring on check engine light.

Well, a M/2001-> B235E (185 bhp) can be upgraded to Aero spec's and handle this in a nice way. The clutch how ever, may be upset due to the increased torqu it will have to handle.

The B235E is equipped with Nimonic alloy 80A exhaust valves, the good stuff that we introduced in B235R. If you want to play it safe, I say this is a must in the long run.

Last but not the least, ECM difference between Aero an d 2.3 LPT, well tell you one thing, ignition map is only one of MANY, MANY differencies.

I have in my -00 Lpt changed Aeros -01 Ecu and new Mitsubishi turbo, Car are also changed bigger(Aero) turbo intake pipe, self made cat-back system(3" and 2.5" both side car;) ) and air intake is modify. i have driving whit this mods about 30tkm and car have run totally 215tkm. Next i will change intercooler ,do new downpipe whit race cat and new Ecu(Maptun Steg4, i hope:D ).

Thanks for your help guys! Sounds like a MY01 B235E with a TD04 turbo and Aero ECM would be a nice combo!
