I just installed the SMBC and have been slowly tuning it to max performance, but here is my quesiton. When I really get on the throttle and I let off the gas and put in the clutch the revs spike about a grand. I noticed it would spike when the SMBC wasn't installed, but it was only about 100 rpm. I can keep it from doing that by slowly letting off the gas before I shift, but then I don't get a fast shift...is there something wrong or is that just the nature of the beast? Ciao

The MTB on the t-7 does this by design in between shifts to hold some of that pressure so when you get back on the throttle in the next gear there is less lag to get going. I haven't heard of a SMBC increasing that rev. It hasn't happened on my 9-5 I have with a SMBC installed and haven't heard of others (as of yet) having that problem. Best way to find out is to pull it off, and go for a spin and see if it changes.
