I have just bought a 99 model and want to fit a towbar but had a fit when the dealer quoted me 554.00 pounds to do it!
There are plenty of other 3rd party manufaturers out there has any one got any experience on which is the best and any tips on the fitting. i can guess the actial fitting of the bar will be into prelocated holes but what about the electrics?
I have alko hitch lock which means there has to be a bit more space between the bumper and the hitch for clearance purposes.
Any advice would be greatly received

Thanks

Simon

Witter seem to be the big name in Tow bars.

Yes the towbar will bolt into holes in the chassis..
The electrics are prewired, but you will need to buy the saab electrics plug, the plug is located in the spare wheel well.

Thaks very much for that. Witter do a towbar at £95 and it is the phlange type where you bold the ball onto a back plate and it looks good . A company called Towsure do one too for £54 but I guess you payes your money and you takes your choice. :o
