I'd be interested in opinions and/or experiences with rebuilding a rear brake caliper on a 9000 (mine's a '92). The parking brake mechanism on my left rear caliper has become sticky, and I'd like to take a shot at dismantaling it and doing the work myself. Has anyone figured out how to completely back out the 4mm allen adjusting screw (for the piston adjustment); it backs out to a certain point, and then stops. Is there a circlip or something in there holding this adjusting screw in? Any observations welcome.

There is a circlip. The adjuster is available as a separate kit, Saab part 41 07 793. It consists of the screw, the circlip, the dust plug and the copper washer.
