: Dash Light Replacement

10th January 2003, 12:09 PM
I think I have a dash light burned out because I can't see my heater controls at night. Everything else lights up fine, but that area is a bit dark. It's the basic 2 dial set-up.

Someone give me some good guidance on how to get to those bulbs. I started to do the job the other day, but I can't see how to get the facia (wood grain thingy) off.

Thanks in advance.

1. Remove heater knobs by pulling gently away from dash, this reveals two screws. Undo and the panel comes off, two bulb holders, one left and right and another on the panel back itself if I remember right.
As easy as something er.... very easy. :D

Dang. I sure hope it's that easy. I was about to unbolt the dash. Glad I waited. I'll let you know if that fixes it.

What an easy job. I can't believe I've been driving around with all 3 of those bulbs behind there burnt out. Sure is nice seeing the dials.

Thanks John.
