Tire Sizes

I was wondering what is the best tire size for a 17inch rim. The reason why i ask this question is that i had recently purchased 17s and replaced the tires twice as it still pulls to the right and shakes around 50-60mph, so any help is appreciated.

I have 225/45, but I do get a little rubbing on the inside against the bottom of the coil spring seat in the front.

You could go with a 225/40 maybe, but these aren't that common.

Best would probably be a 215/45.

Yep. That's the factory approved size for a 17" wheel on a NG900 or 9-3. I'm also using 225/45R17 tires, but I'm going back down to 215's when it's time for new tires because there's some rubbing in the front fenders.

So if the tires are 225/45s then what else could be causing the wobble and the drift that i am experiencing. Could it be the rims, because they had to put a wheel spacer on the rims to make the wobble a little better, could it be the spacers arent the right fit?
