Where is the APC located on an early 9000t?

What model year 9000T?
All ECMs are in a choice of three places; under the false bulkhead n/s, behind the knee panel o/s or under the n/s seat.

On old 9000 the APC is located under the kneepanel just above the pedals.

Tweak on!

Will a 1991 9000 Carlsson 2.3T with a red DI unit have APC?

At a recent service, my Turbo Bypass valve was changed, and if anything the car feels very slighlty slower. I've heard APC's have to be adjusted, but don't know whether or not mine has one to adjust....

the turbo bypass valve will only affect your performance if it is faulty and is openingwhen your throttle open. if the valve was replaced it should mean that they found your old one to be broken, in witch case your intake air would have been being leaked before it reached your intake manifold whick will slow your throttle response and high end.
the only thing i can think of is that your mechanic replaced it with a valve made for less boost pressure so it is releasing the pressure in your intake pipe before it rises to the make boost you were getting with your old valve.
hope this made any sense.
