Hi I have an 88 9000 Turbo. It is an automatic. The trans was rebuilt at 162000 miles. The place didn't do a good job. The trans feels as if it were going again and its only been 15000 miles. I was wondering if I could swap in a manual trans? Any help would be great.

Didn't you get a warranty from the place that replaced your current box?

Yeah. I got a warranty but for some reason it was only good for 1200 miles or a year. And when it got done it was in and out of the shop for three months because they could not fix it correctly. The worst part is that it cost $2500.00. Can I sue them under the Lemon Law?

I don't know what the laws are in the US but it would certainly be worth seekiing some legal advice after spending that much money.
