I was wondering, would this be possible?
I currently own a 9000 turbo from 1986 and on the dashboard there's the analog clock with R and INFO buttons.
Could i replace it with a trip comp (digital clock + extra buttons) from a newer 9000?

Anyone knows wich year was the first 9000 fitted with the trip comp? 93, 94? Many of those in local junkyards :)

Thanks ahead!

P.S Minu mäletamist mööda peaks vingemat sorti kompuuter ka vanematel mudelitel valikus olema - väemalt 90 aasta 9000 manuaalis on selle progemise kirjeldus (sellega olevat võimalik juhtida näit autonoomset kütteseadet jms.)

Yes, duesenberg, but please next time speak english, or we will both be kicked outta here ;-)

And yes, the manual, from my 1986 car shows pictures and guides for the trip computer.

And i haven't asked saabianti, yet.. i usually have so many questions :P

I'm not sure but wiring should be same for clock and also for computer. So it seems that Your biggest problem is to find properly working exemplar.

Marquis,
The wiring is already in place; all you have to do is remove the old analog clock unit, and hook up the connectors to your digital unit.
