What says you that the car is awd, it could just be the ordinary 9-3SS with v6?:roll:

Time to put ice into hat. Nothing indicates that it has awd, unless that plate number tells something. And I dont think it does. So I would change topic.

A 9-3 with as much pep as my car, that's a scary thought.

I am crying fowl on this pic, if its a spy shot were are the markings/tape to disguise it. also the colours on the rear look just slightly off to me

How do we know this is a 2006? How do we know this has the V6? How do we know the car has AWD? Am I missing something here?

It could be a Photoshop job. The colors in the rear of the car look innatural to me, especially the lower black part of the bumper.

If i's not a photoshop, it still could be some aftermarket bumper and exhaust, couldn't it? To argue that it has got the 2.8 V6 from that pic is a bit premature.

Anyway, it looks very nice.:cool:

I think Pedroturbo meant he wants the new V6 Aero (possibly the one shown in photo with dual exhausts) with AWD when that becomes available in the Epsilon II configuration for 2008/09.

Interestingly the door handles are still black. I read somewhere new '06 upgrades include body-colored handles. Also that rear skirt doesn't look Aero-like. But I suppose test mules can be whatever the engineers and PR folks put together since they know there's going to be the inevitable spy shot leaks.

I've seen this picture at a different forum and the photo is taken in Trollhättan and the guy who took the picture removed some letters from the plate to keep the test driver secret. The car also has the same dual exhausts which are to be found on the 9-3 Sportcombi v6. All this makes me about 99 % secure that it is the 9-3 SS v6 which will be released 2006. But still, I don't think the car is AWD.

They do make a dual output exhuast system for the 9-3SS. Not sure why this car is considered a new V-6 when it could just be the same I4 that they have been using with this dual output exhuast system.

BTW, i realize the tips are different, but tips are interchangible.

I notice Saab still hasn't fixed the rear break light alignment that is mismatched on the trunk/body (usually the right side).

:nono;

I think even the new GMs have better body gap/light alignment than that.

Saab: how dense are you?!

I think SAAB is going to put a V6 logo somewhere or 2.8t or something for the new V6 models... they're going to want to show off the new engine and show that theres something new/different to get a lil attention.

i thought i was the only one who noticed the alignment of the rear taillights were off

they'll probably just leave the Aero badge on the back
