Is it possible to install a manual boost controller on a 2001 9-3? without upgrading ECU's I want to get some more power and faster spool up from the turbo. I have an intake and diverter valve already...anyone also know any tricks to make the DV louder?

Intake being that you have a cone air intake? Coupled with a metal piston style BPV, that would probably be the loudest you can get it without upsetting the t-7
SMBC is the only option in the t-7 with a target objective of increasing spoolup and livening up the lower gears without raising peak boost.

Series Manual Boost Controller.... it is installed in series with your stock bpc valve
If you already own one, it might be able to be modifed to work as a SMBC. All that is need is to block the bleed port and install as ricot said, between the turbo compressor hose and the BPC with a mild setting.
