I am looking to buy a Saab, 00-01 Saab 9-3 Turbo 5 speed. I want to know how difficult these cars are to work on, if they are at all? and if so why? just because I have told people in my shop that i wanted to get one and everyone one says "have fun working on it, their a pain in the *** to work on".

A 4-year old car shouldn't require that much 'working on' :-?
It's the mods that'll take you to new levels of obsession :o

I wonder if any of them have ever had a Saab. Have a look round the 9-3 Workshop to get an idea of what's involved - but I don't think any Saab is that hard to work on.

For that year car, you will need a 13mm socket and wrench, and possibly a T-25 and T-30.
They are super easy...unless its the fuel pump, but you needn't worry about that.
