T7's and manual transmission

I've got a 2000 9-5 with a T7 and manual transmission. It takes a very long time for the engine speed to come down while shifting gears. And that's REALLY annoying. I can either be patient and let other cars zoom past me, or use the clutch abusively, which I don't like to do. I know it has to do with emissions, but it's ridiculous. No other car I have driven is like this. Is there anything to do to help this? Would an ECU upgrade, say from Nordic, have any effect?

Hi , i confirnm that NORDIC upgrade are wery nice and have wery high output awter upgrade.

posible to doo upgrade to 280 h/p.

Can you test drive another 9-5 manual and see the comparison as I havent heard this problem before :-?
