We just spent all our money on a 92x Aero, now we need accessories to protect it from our dogs. this looks like a good idea http://mats4less.com/20imhatorcar.html but a wee bit pricey for a chunk of rubber. It's the only one i've seen that covers the back of the seats and the wheel-well sides though. Has anyone seen a similar item for the wrx or the 92x?

Also looking for a bumper guard for the back so the doggies claws ton't scratch up the bumper when they get in and out of the hatch. The only one i've seen says 'Impreza' on it.

Help?

Can't wait, we get the Aero on Tuesday.......

I'm sure there will be one available from your dealer as an 'official' accessory.

I took a look at the cargo mat for the 9-2x in dealer's accessory catalog. Its basically a flat piece of rubber with divots. I posted a message previously mentioning that the 9-2x mats were really cheap. It looks like those floor and cargo mats are cut from the same material. You could probably use a cookie cutter on the cargo mat and presto ... you have new floor mats. :P

The subaru cargo mat looks a lot better. However, the mat does not cover the side walls like the one you initially posted. I believe they just have a small lip around the edges. The saab mat on the other hand is totally flat with no retaining edges.

Indeed there is a mat on the Saab website. There is also a decent looking one available from Stateofnine.com for around 50 bucks. I can't see how anyone would pay 200 for a cargo mat, it would have to clean itself for that price.

I use a moving blanket to protect the cargo area. Just fold it up when you're not using it and its out of the way.
