Hi

Can anyone tell me, does the 9-5 Aero (pre 2002) have traction Control?

I'm considering changing my trusty 900 for an Aero and was thinking about all that power through the front wheels, as my 900 can spin quite badly on only the dampest of mornings. (should replace my P6000's with Eagle F1's, I reckon :) )

My other option was the 3.0 V6, which, correct me if I'm wrong (and I probably am!) does have TC, and take it to abbott to see what they can do.

Hi and welcome to the 9-5 board!

Yes, all Aero's had traction control as standard, as did the V^...
The Aero is 30hp more powerful as standard, and is far more upgradeable than the V6..

Not many people do much with the V6 as far as power hikes go, the engine is a little limited as its based on a Vauxhall lump..
Also the V6 was only ever available as an auto, so that 'may' put you off!

Cheers,

I was a bit concerned about the "upgradability" of the V6, so I think it has to be an Aero.

I was just a bit worried that until I got used to it, I'd be leaving great swathes of rubber everywhere

The auto is another question, but I'll start another thread for that.
