when i was doing up my 9000carlsson i replaced all the front suspension bushes with polly bushes and the differance was unbelievable, well since then the 9-3 has been getting pritty soggy and i'm sick of driving what can only be discribed as a barge so i've ordered these

So far i've done the inner front bush and the drop link bushes, the improvement is quite remarkable.

Those red bushes are the Superflex drop link bushes for a 9000 as it goes, but they fit a treat.

Wow your going for it.Top one. I was wondering do the inner arm bush's from the factory come in two halfs? Or do the polys come that way to make life easier?

i'm not looking forward to fitting the dam things it was bad enough on the 9000 and that was only a small alloy housing not a big clumsy arm

well my new bushes arived last week so last friday i set about fitting them, the job started by removing the lh front wish bone which has three bushes in, great the antiroll bar drop link snapped off so two more was ordered (same as cavalia) so back to the job in hand, i had to press out the bushes :o mother of all jobs even with a press and install the poly's and refit back to the car followed by removing the wish bone from the rh side, blasted anti roll bar drop link wouldn't come off the roll bar so out came the grinder , well the wish bone was then given the same treatment as the other side and fitted back to the car and all bolts tightened with the weight on the wheels then it was to the rear axle but the bushes that i'd ordered was the wronge ones (i'd ordered c900 ones  ) so i couldn't fit those so for the last week i've been driving around with the front all poly'd up and the back still all floppy, the car was still not good to drive so i was very dissapointed however the right bushes turned up as promised from www.partsforsaabs.com so today i fitted them too, it was not as bad a job as i'd expected :D so that was all done and i had stll got most of the afternoon with nothing to do so i set about making and installing a subframe brace to go just under the front edge of the sump, this has to fix to the bottom of the subframe so it reduces the ground clearance by 1" but add this to the new rear bushes and new front bushes and new front antiroll bar drop links and a steering rack clamp and twin rear anti roll bars (watch this space by the way) and lowered springs the car now drives like it should (very close to the 9000 :cheesy: )there is less bump steer no tram lining(well very little) turning the steering wheel now provokes an instant responce non of this turning and waiting its instant there is better accelaration but tends to spin the wheels much easier now  but all in all i'm more than happy with the out come of this upgrade and all these polly bushes came from parts for saabs at a great price of 175 for 4 sets of bushes
