Do they make a chip for a 2.3 liter non-turbo Saab??? Mark mentioned it in a previous topic about chipping my Saab. Do they make these chips available for the US because i found one company who made a chip my 2.3 liter non-turbo but they didn't seem to export to the US.
you might try http://www.abbottracing.com/2002/index.htm
they have a trionic power upgrade but it's rather pricey
Hi
I think Trionic is just for the turbo models..
I was browsing a 'chipping' site the other day and it did chips for the both the 2.0 and 2.3 NA engines. I think it was a US company too! They were quoting 10bhp gain, more torque, better fuel economy, better pick up, flat spot elimination, a better torque/power curve and the cost was around $200- 250 (ish)
Let me check back through my history..

...that was a fitted price too, and included a default back to original settings failsafe.
If I could just remember the name...

If u find the site PLEASE POST IT!!! I am very interested in chipping my Saab! and yes trionic is only for turbo the non-turbo engines use a motronic engine management system which also uses a distributer and NOT direct ignition.
well you COULD try http://www.powerchipgroup.com/
but they seem pretty ghetto
