Took a few before and after photos of the difference in ride height and wheel clearance of my car. Bilstein Sport shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit springs. The ride is amazing and makes the car feel as though it is virtually level through every corner. It is not bouncy or overly stiff at all.

The installation was done by Swedish Performance (www.saabmastertech.com) of Branford, CT and was very reasonable and done very quickly. On a Saturday at that!

This has pretty much shot my budget for the year as far as the car is concerned, but it was well worth it!

Nice......I love the way it dropped the rear suspension. The big question...How's the ride?

Definitely firmer, but not bad. Have yet to have any "bone-rattlers" and I've driven 84 to work and back for two days now. If I didn't catch something there to make me go 'whoa! that's FIRM', then I don't think I will.

Wow that is gorgeous! I want that! Unfortunately, I drive a 900 1996 SET. Any ideas if the kit for the 93 applies to all NG900s?

I don't know exactly... Sorry. But you can go here http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe/00234.5.277864619800014133 and see what they have to say about fitting your car themselves.

The springs are different on the 9-3 than on the NG900. But the same companies make packages that fit the 900.

i thought it was the shocks that where difference on the 9-3 to the ng900 not the springs, hence eibachs pro springs fit ng900 '94 to 9-3 '01 but the shocks they do only fit the '98+ 9-3 and they dont do any shocks for the ng900 :(
which i was after by the way!

me wants all eibach pro's!

Whoaa! That looks sweet! 8) I might go for that combination. If you don't mind, what did it cost for the install?

It's a great feeling when you drop the car it changes its habbits completely. I fitted Koni adjustables and Eibach pro's all round and boom it was superb.

Two anti roll bars and all that is left is a steering clamp and brace.

Nice one

Labor was $74.50/hr x 3.5 hours = $260.75 plus they washed and vacuumed the car.

Well hopefully someone with a 1996 SET will tell us the answer to the springs in the 93 fitting the 900. BTW just an observation. It appears to me that lowering the supension also cleans your car and puts some shine on your wheels and tires! More reasons to get mine done too! :cheesy:

In answer to will 93 springs fit the 900.

Well as I remember the 900's are different I think the rears are the same these are quite a generic shape. Its the fronts that are different. Also ng900 springs are often more expensive than 93??

Eibach retailers also list them under different No's I know that is not definative but why else.

Why do you ask can you get your hands on a set of 93 springs??

No joke. It's like a new car. I didn't double up my stocks like you did, (shoulda maybe though?). I got the 22mm ARB on there. Gotta save those pennies for the clamp and brace.

Here ya go.
These shots are from the Abbott site.

The 93 and 900 fronts are subtly different at the base coils.

According to the site sponsor PartsforSaabs.com, the eibach kit for the NG94-98 is 7804.140. Of course they are in England and the Eibach springs cost over $438 US pesos :)
