Iam sorry if this type of thread has been done before, but Iam new to this sort of tuning, and I hust did not know what to do. I just bought a 95' NG900 se turbo 2 door. with only 80,000 miles to it and it has been kept in good shape by a doctor. :cheesy:
I want to make some minor upgrades to this car, but I don't know what to do first. I was thinking about putting in a performance air filtration system, computer chip, rims, mabey a new suspension system, or new rack and pinion, and new audio sytem because this one does not have a CD player and if Iam going to upgrade to a CD player I might as well put in new speakers.
If anyone could give me any kind of advice that would be much appreciated. And is there any one company that I should buy all this stuff from like say Abbot Racing, or K&N, or Super chips. :)

First off sources:
Abbotracing (overpriced)
mpperformance.com (mostly suspension)
genuinesaab.com (performance+suspension)
These are really the main sources for aftermarket parts in the US
You will want to first sort out the suspension:
rear sway bar
steering rack clamp and brace
maybe some springs and sport shocks?
Performance wise:
intake
diverter valve(dv) aka bypass valve(bpv) or go for a blow off valve(bov)
exhaust- saabsport, jt (3" turbo back with sport or race cat best for performance)
manual boost contol or mbc+a (anticipator)
ecu
*When installing performance mods it is reccomended to run only premium fuel and synthetic oil and top quality filters
Audio:
Headunit personal choice
speakers-
dash 3.5"
door(may or may not have) 6.5"
rear 6x9
Did I miss anything?
These are pretty much the basics.

Great info. Thanks, but what kind of intake system do you recomend, and what kind of computer do you recomend. Whats a TCU? And whats the maximum hp I can get out of buying a new computer, say stage 3 or 4, and from what parts supplier do you buy most of your mods from.
:idea And is it possible to put all these modifications together myself or Iam going to have to take it to a auto shop.
Also were do you live in Atl? I go up and see some of my relatives every so ofthen in Brazelton near Road Atlanta, and Panoz Racing school.

Im an using the speedparts intake from genuinesaab. Others like blaqueout's intake, and others just mod their stock airbox and use a drop in sport filter. The ecu is the engine control unit, it is the computer. Max hp without getting an ecu... You would want an intake turbo back exh with a stage 4 setup with a mitsubishi td04 turbocharger- youre lookin at 280 or so. Each ecu tuning company tunes their ecu's a little bit differently its just a matter of which one fits what you want(theyre all gonna give a great improvement in power thouigh). Most mods you can do yourself if youre handy. Most of my parts have come from genuinesaab.
Im from west cobb co. If youre up in atl oh say sept 18 we (a group of us in atl) are going for a mountain run in n ga.

The current route for Mountain run II is being finialized as we speak. Look like we'll start in Clayton and go from there over to Helen since that was a wild blst of a ride and then its on to Delonega. So the day shold be filled with mountain twistys. Anyone interested PM me. Hopefully stalker won't be screeching his tires this time :cheesy:
