Hey all.

I just had my remus exhaust installed. A little louder than I had hoped, but I guess I'll get used to it.

But here's my question...

As you can see from the pics below its a little crooked. Can I bend the "handles" that it attaches to the car with in order to try to straighten it out? Will there be clearance issues if I do?

Any help appreciated.

Matt, I'd take it back mate, they should align it with the rear valance before clamping it all up, I'd hate for you to fracture the welds that hold the hangers on :o

Either that or you need to release the "U" clip at the join slightly and twist the back box to the correct place then tighten it up and check for blowing, personally I'd make them do it :wink:

I guess one thing to chck for is the rubber hanger can sometimes have a couple of possible mountings, could you raise the left hand one and see if it lifts that side of the pipe?

I agree with Chris, take it back and get them to fit it properly! It's not as Bling as the BSR system :cheesy:

Talking of bling Simon, are those big brakes on yet? 8)

No not yet. I think I need some more power first...

It is quite common for the hangers to get bent in transport. Just needs some simple adjustment.
When they arrive from Saab there is just the muffler and pipe in side the large box, no packing. We have to repackage them all before they can go back out. :roll:
