Apart from the usual rip-off prices from Trent and Abbott Racing has any one come across a good source for uprated actuators?, the Trent one is £109+vat if my memory serves me correctly, i would presume that Abbott would want around the same price also.
I contacted Turbo Technics and they referred me to Abbott Racing!!!-some conspiracys going on there i think they must have sold the 'rights' to them!
TIA

Pete

Any authorised Garrett turbo dealer/service centre should stock them - uprated for a Saab is stock for cars without APC.

The Trent one is made by Forge Engineering in Gloucester and is primarily designed for the Mitsubishi turbos. The unit is also exclusive to Trent and unfortunately no else can sell it.

Pete I've got the Trent Saab actuator, and I didn't actually think it was that bad value. The picture on the web site is wrong, that one looks more like a standard actuator. I can post a picture of mine if you want (can't now as its dark).

I didn't know it was made by Forge though, that's reassuring.

I payed almost £100 for my Bailey dump valve, and that's not a scratch on the quality of the Trent actuator.

My only commment on it is that I had to add an adjustable restriction to the solenoid valve to reduce the boost spike due to the stiffer spring rate. Trent seem to set their cars up to give this spike....I personally don't like it, and prefer solid boost, so I changed mine to drive how I wanted it to drive.
