What is that in your trunk? Very nice Viggen by the way

Some interesting stuff, I like the rear brace btw [something i'm wondering about but a subtly different design to that] May I suggest a heatsheild for your intake, even if it just some polished aluminium to reflect the worst of it. Good call all the same.

OK ... I have to ask (especially since you are very close to me) ... where did you get the CF pieces?

You can buy them off ebay. Im not sure if thats the most effecient and reliable way, but I know you can get some good prices. I know you didnt ask me, but theres a start.

Samba, is that a Ferrari parked across the street? If so, then I guess I finally understand the need to p*mp out the Viggen as much as possible. Nice looking car! As I remember, you said you were making these parts yourself? They look good. I especially like the rear Strut brace. Carbon fiber is classy stuff.

Is there another section to that intake pipe? It looks to me as if its missing a turn.. But could just be me..

It appears to be a Ferrari 308 GTB.

I bought all the matt, either from a local fiberglass supply shop, or from ebay. I made everything myself. I have some ideas for a few interior peices to make in CF aswell, might make a mold and start selling them if the interest is there, and I have enough free time.

Indeed I am making these all myself. The final turn down into the TB is missing(ran out of CF bends!) I'll be using a black samco 2.5-3" elbow for that final curve, and using some t-bolt clamps to secure. I just need to fit the BPV pipe, and IAT sensor thread. then I should be able to test it for boost leaks. I really only like the look of CF on black. Should have a full CF interior theme going in the not to distant future, along with custom fibeglas/CF Alpine Mulit media setup too. The ferrari in the background is a 328 GTS I think.

How much do you suppose something like that intake pipe would cost to make, overall? I like.

If you do CF interior parts, I'm assuming you'll be making them, rather than buying the expensive kits from SAAB?

Hey ed,

Right now I am at a little under 300cnd in terms of cost for the intake pipe. Depending on how this one comes out, I may consider making a few more. As for the interior parts, I will also be making those. Ideas are front and rear door pulls, The little triangle peices on the door where the window is(the part with the mirror controls), the ignition keyhole cover, Full main dash, and upper dash insert(the part closest to the window.

when I finally get around to making those Boxster caliper brackets we will have to trade ;)

I would love some interior carbon fiber accents.

So that's like $10 US? :cheesy: "Just a little John Candy/Dan Ackroyd "Canadian Bacon" humor.

No, I guess that's not bad for CF. How'd ya do the CF rear strut brace and when do we get to buy one? :cheesy:

Out of the classifieds of course!

Well, I don;t really have an intention to sell anything yet, but for some of the interior peices will require molds to make, therefore I "could" technically knock a few more out. I really don't have the time to put into a side job, considering I already work two jobs as is! Most of the stuff I made or will make is mostly just because I want them and they don't exist. I'll post more pics as I have some done. Thanks for the comments guys.
