Well now that the wedding is out of the way this weekend is mine.

At last I get to fit the Konis and the Eibachs :cheesy:
Plus the new Strut mounts and bearings and the troublesome concave strut washers.
Also on the list is a used but only for 3 months. Abbott SS catless downpipe. A 2nd Anti-Roll bar for the building of a double stack. The bar came from our very own Mr Rob Sandey and the 'How To' from Kevbu and Boxman.
If there is time i'm going for the Viggen Aerial drilling the roof :o Will not be taken lightly.

The Koni kit came with a set of springs and bump stops. I have taken a shot to compare the kit springs with the Eibachs. The Eibach's have a lot more meat on them.

With a little look come Monday morning the journey to work should be a lot more fun :cheesy:

Look who's got his wedding present then :cheesy: .

Have fun mate.

It wouldn't suprise me if the red rear spring gives the firmer ride due to it's tighter coiling.

To be honest I had not thought about it. I guess sell them.

I have had this stuff building up in the shed, some of it for nearly a year. The lot was completed the otherday by the purchase of the strut mounts from PFS.
There seemed little point in going ahead with it all until I had the bits and bobs.

My first MOT test will be here in a week so I may leave the No Cat pipe till after the emmissions test.

Not trying to block a sale or anything but if we start price negotiations you'll need to pm or if Dead is smart he'll put them in the classifieds and make more money! :cheesy:

Main thing I want to point out though (Sorry Dead, not trying to hurt ya here or anything! ) is that I tried to get some springs shipped from UK to US off the classifieds a month ago and the shipping was more than the springs!!! I checked with Paul at Parts for Saabs to see if their shipping is comparable and it's not. It's much cheaper! I don't know how they charge for delivery in the UK from private parties versus businesses, but it seems prohibitively expensive!!!

Yep no worries mr Moderator, thats why I did not answer the 'what' question in full.
No selling on the forums or i'll lock my own thread.

Are springs a tough item for you guys to get hold of in the states?

BK all things in the UK are expensive.

Well I shall be busy this weekend. Shall report back later.

was that exhaust from ebay dead :-?? cus if it was you got it from a freind of mine also the red springs will give a better ride cus they are progressive, and more meat on the springs doesn't mean stronger springs i would have a play around before you sell the springs to see which ones you prefur.

Yeah the pipe did come from a guy in the wis of beach.
He seemed a good bloke.
As for the springs yeah I have had lots of driving on progressive windings me and Raggy were discussing Pi springs that are wound normal and very hard ohhh bang.

The Eibachs are standard on m class beemers and supposed to be te king of springs.
I think Simon told me the reds are Losjefors springs.

The progression wind also helps to stop coil overlap on those low street cars a-la cossie ect.

You reckon the reds will be comfier?

Oh, the springs weren't bad at all (the ones in the classifieds). I think they were £45 pretty newly out of the box. I thought I was going to score a real deal! But the shipping was I believe 2 times that or something. It was prohibitive to say the least. I really wanted some new springs, too...

as far as i am awere 'cus they are softly sprung for a small amount of movement but when your tanking 'round a cornerand the soft part has traveled to its limel the spring then firms up to control roll
