Sorry it took so long.

Was really more of a mini-meet. Pretty disappointed in those that said they'd come and didn't. :x
At least, almost everyone else that showed up was good quality people.

Let me just post links for the modem impaired...

Special thanks to Viscouse and SaabScott for making 3 and 6 1/2 hour drives, respectively.

I had a great time!

It was really good to finally meet some more Saab Central folks (even if some of them were 9-3 drivers  - JUST KIDDING!!!! :cheesy: )

Dyllan, my 12 year old also had fun ... actually, the word he used on the way home was "cool"!

Cleve, thanks for arranging the whole thing ... I'm glad the weather held for us, it certainly looked like it could have been bad!

It was also a pleasure meeting your lovely wife ... considering your campfire cooking talent, she certainly must be very understanding! :cheesy:
Just kidding of course ... the food was perfect! :D

And thanks for the tour of the RRHOF ... it was fun and educational.

Wow, that's a gorgeous black 99. Can you remind me of who's that is?

And although the car pics are great, do you have any pics of the people in attendance, like a group shot or something?

That would be my 75 EMS w/63k original miles. The car was "totaled" when I got it(body wise), and restored to almost original(by me)..

More than 1000 pics of the restoration here http://saabpics.org:3000/gallery/albuo18

Blue was also there(Sunday morning), but I think Scott got the only pics...

He's not kidding. hehehe Had a ton of food and wound up feeding quite a few burgers and dogs to the fire.
Didn't really get many people shots. I think I might have one... I'll look.
Wish you could have come, too, Tweek. At least you told me ahead of time you weren't. ;)
RE: My hubcap. I lost one on the road somewhere....that's only a temp until I
a) get a new hubcap
b) get rims
c) get a 'new' Saab
:D

Yep, I was in Hershey last year with both my 99's, too bad the convention is on the west coast this year.

I have more pics here if you have a few days to spare  http://saabpics.org:3000/gallery/Dougstuff

Who was asking about The Long Run in 1986 with the 9000's? Was if Viscouse or DFlippo? I told them I had the brochure scanned in and posted......click on each image twice to get a readable page.
