You could turn this into a Poll... how many miles/kilometres on your Saab?

0 - 50,000
50,000 - 100,000
100,000 - 150,000
150,000 - 200,000
etc etc.

May need to adjust the values depending on how optimistic you are about the longevity of old Saabs.

mine just rolled over to 200,000 the other day.

This may help if you want to make the Kilometer to Miles conversion, or any other conversion for that matter.

My T16 has 130,000 miles, and the 8v has something over 180,000 miles (frozen odometer so true mileage is a mystery).

The big question that we would have state side is. Do all Saabs odomiters read as miles or not? If not than the ones that don't should convert to miles for the poll. Am I over thinking this? I just want it to be fair about it.

I thought of having it as a poll and mine is in kilometres, but I realised most people around here will be measuring in miles. So I think miles it is. Even though the higher figures in kilometres sound more impressive!

I parked my 8 valve 900 at 135,001 miles last fall. However it has about 17,500 more than that in reality. I got my turbo with 71,000 miles on it, at the same time. Now it has 91,200. That's over 20,000 in 7 months. Sure hope it holds up as well as DeLorean's 99 Turbo.

Forgive me if I missed it while skimming through the thread... But who's got the 400k+ miles? :o

Good job!

EDIT: That must have been DeLoreans 99, with some 500k miles on it :o They just don't make 'em like they used to.. (Damnable hell, now I have Kenny Rogers stuck in my head!)

1997 900SE - 165,000 miles
1989 900 SPG - 184,000 miles

Yeah, some of us do. :( I guess I could just add them all together. :D

While on the subject of being all together, why isn't our taxes all together? No matter how many cars I have I'm going to drive the same amount of miles so why do I have to pay for each individual car? I'm paying like seven times the average person. :o

GearHead

wow this is an old thread! My old saab went to about 600K miles. the saab I am currently driving is showing 230,XXX miles...

Aero_Ady
13th February 2007, 05:19 PM
My (94) 9000 Aero has covered 185,000 & my wife's (92) 9000 cse 2.0 fpt has covered 189,000. Both of them use no oil or water between services & they don't rattle or tap either. We are both still running them both in.

Does anyone know what the highest mileage Saab is ? I'm not on-about a test car but a average person's every day car.
