Hi, has anybody upgraded the ignition coil on a 8v turbo and if so which is the best option?
Mine doesn't seem to like the wet/damp anymore. I've changed the cap, arm, plugs and leads so only the coil left now.
I've also heard that the ignition module near the apc unit can be upgraded but have no further details. Can anyone help please????

900 turbos (esp T16) are a bit fussy about ignition components, you can't go far wrong by sticking to OEM stuff.

Coil=Bosch
Leads=Bougicord
Plugs=NGK

I've always run with NGK's and decent leads before but this is the first time I've had coil problems on a Saab.
