Just got a hold on a 9000T motor and I need to know which model it is.It`s not equiped with the DI-system,just the regular ign.distr.My guess is a `88 CC.What do you think?Is there an easy way to tell?

Does it really matter which year model it is when getting an APC box,just as long as it`s in the same group of make,i.e. 9000 turbo 1985-`89,with- or without DI an so on?

not to sure, does it have anything to do with the distributor, is it vacaum driven etc
hope i dont have that wrong!
also, a quick visit to a SAAB dealer, might be worth while too, found mine to be realy freindly
