Huge Saab fan here coming into a large amount of money at the end if the year and am genuinely looking to get a manual 2010-2011 2.0TiD. Does anyone own one of these and is there anything I should look out for? 90% of my driving is on the motorway so what knd of mileage should I expect with my lead foot? Is the car 'too big' for our rather narrow roads but more importantly, what is the parts situation like here in the UK? Thanks in advance!
I have a 2010 2.0TiD, it is my 10th SAAB in 30 years, and I would say the best one yet.My one has an auto box and I get 40mpg averaged over dual carriageway and country roads and don't find it 'too big' for narrow roads, although the mirrors do stick out somewhat!
There is a known condition with the auto box, where it will not hold on a very steep incline, and gradually lose speed, and as for parts, the only part that I have required was the LCD light bar on the boot, which was replaced under dealer warranty, and took just 2-3 days to arrive.
