I have an issue with the Infotainment Center that drives me crazy. I have copied MP3s to the Infotainment HDD. It works well enough. However, everytime a start my car (2011 Saab 9-5 Aero) the Infotainment Center comes on, goes to the HDD, and starts playing the first song on the list. This happens whether I turn the Infotainment Center off before stopping the engine, no matter what song was playing when I stopped the car, or if I was listening to the radio and not HDD MP3s. I've searched the manual for settings to change/adjust this. I like the Infotainment Center to Shuffle through my MP3s when I drive, but each time I have to access the HDD menu and switch the unit to Shuffle, even though it was on Shuffle during last use.
This is driving me mad. If I here 'Don't fear the reaper' one more time I may kill someone! Guess it is actually "_Don't fear the reaper" which is why it is top of the list.
hi, I have the same issue, I'd love to know how to fix, it also starts to shuffle tracks on its own sometimes too.
Also the dash randomly displays time for service for no apparent reason, anyone else have this

This is the third time I've seen this code. I've taken it to the dealership and the first time they told me that it was low voltage from the battery. I've noticed that there's a rickety/squeaky noise when I turn the steering wheel sometimes. I'm not sure it the issue is related. I've noticed that there are 2 plus symbols inside 2 circles at the bottom of my dash display. I'm guessing that those indicate 2 trouble codes (not sure). If this needs to be fixed, I would like to get it fixed asap... I hope the dealership isn't avoiding it or something.
Hi viperslice, that's a different message to what I was getting, mine was 'service vehicle soon' which hopefully is now cured, as holdcroft saab in stoke on trent, did several software updates. I was very pleased to find a dealership which was knowledgeable about this car and would recommend them to anyone in the UK. (they also updated the hdd, to try to stop it always starting at the same track, this seems to have partially worked, mostly it plays the last track listened to, but sometimes reverts back to its own choice)

Yea I figured. I was just posting one of like 4 different ones that I get randomly. If you see that one come up, let me know ;ol;. I've had some radio issues myself mostly with the clock. The update didn't work for my radio, and I haven't heard back as to whether or not they've put a request in to have it replaced. Glad you found a place that could help!
