I know someone has the PPC and a digi that will make a short video.

can someone make this video and put it up on a site?

Someone hinted this in the other SS section and I thought it was a GREAT IDEA!!

I have put up several videos on my craip site but have not seen a thing with the ppc... I would like to see the revs and acceleration.. hear the turbo.. exhaust :)

I could do that on friday because i have to take in the car for some rattle fixes, so i want to be on the safe side and remove the tuning. I can put up two 30 seconds videos if you are interested! Unless someone else posts the video earlier!!! What parts of the installation are you interested in ?

IMO the best thing to do is 2 videos....one with ppc and one without...showing the differences in speed and reving up :wink:

It makes me grin to see that Turbo needle up in the red. You could barely hear the exhaust on that thing, but it sure did speed up fast in 3rd.

Because if you do it in that low of a gear the engine revs too fast and the turbo does not get fully spooled, therefore lower power readings

at where, I have got some great videos of my me autocrossing the saab and beating my roomates Subaru WRX!! I would really like to post them but they are about 13-15Mb a peice. I am working on making them smaller, as soon as I do i will be looking for a place to post them.

^ there are people on here that can host them for you, probably just need for them to speak up (I dont know who they are) and FTP them the file(s).

I would host it if you could get it under or at 5 MB, this is all I can host (free with my server).

If UNC loses tonight I am going to be so happy I am going to be making one hell of a video for this site :)

You guys, complete failure. I wasnt able to video tape while driving. HAHAHA, the car was going all over the place. WTF. How the hell did this guy videotape his car while driving???

Edit: I think his car has an automatic transmission?

I don't think the transmission is automatic. There's no indicator to show which gear the car is in and shouldn't there be if it was an automatic?

This afternoon,I did the same tests,as the guy from the video did,with my aero.
The only mod I have,is the JR filter.
Accelerating from 50 to 150 km/h,with 3rd gear,took him about 10 seconds...I did 13-14secs.
From 60 to 170 with 4th gear,took him 16 secs...I did almost 21....
I couldn't do the 60-170 with 5th gear,because of the traffic...
Comparing the times,seems like that the ppc is working well.. :wink:
I also have a 20 sec video of the 65-170 with 4th gear,but it's about 3.6mb and I don't know where to host it... :roll:

Overall,I'm conviced about the ppc and I'm just waiting to buy it with the cat-back exhaust.
Of course I'm going to dyno the car ,before and after... :wink:
Any ideas when the ppc with the cat-back for the aero is going to be in the market????

If you are referring to the BSR cat-back for the Aero, I believe finklejag contacted BSR and there was no set date on the product. The Ferrita system is available and has been for a while, it will fit the Aero.

Either way,I will buy the ppc sometime around June or July...if they have the cat-back..ok...if they don't..I will buy from Feritta :D
