I just purchased a 2011 9-5. So far, the only trunk release mechanism that I have found is on the key fob. There is no mention of a trunk release in the owner manual. The 2011 9-3 has a trunk release button on the driver's door.
Is there another trunk release button in or near the driver's seat or is this another Saab "quirk" like the single back up light?
Manual is information poor. No trunk release in the car. Yes, button on key fob, or if the car is locked, you'll need to have key fob on your person and can manually open the trunk by pushing release under truck lid. Otherwise, the trunk release works with central locking system just like gas fill door.
Once in a while car just disconnected from power, in the morning doesn't start. I thinks it's getting stolen of something and immobilizes itself so I have to disconnect and battery and reconnect it. What's the issue here?
