Was wondering if it would be safe to pressure wash my engine bay? I would cover up ecu ,fuse box and battery

I wouldn't do it. Too many electronics, connections, etc. I go with degreaser, brushes, rags and hose. Takes longer but safer in my opinion.

You can use the self-wash if you put it on the very low setting and hold it above your car (nowhere near the engine) and move it back and forth gently. Then use a lot of rags and degrease wipes. Check out the pic of my engine bay in my garage - that's how I cleaned my engine. I keep it clean with regular TLC of rags and wipes.

guys, engines get pressured washed all the time...
Car dealers, body shops, detail shops..
Keep the pressure normal, not as high as you would wash the exterior and it will be fine

I do agree with the degreaser statements, do that then wash it down

I use a power washer about once a week with no degreasers with no issues at all.
