So I just got back from the shop, I have been chasing this oil leak for a while now. I have some oil on the top of the throttle body...o-ring was crushed. The main focus was I have oil on top of my dip stick housing. I have the latest PCV update and I know I hooked it up correctly. The auto guy told me he gets a lot of information from IATN chat forums on the foreign cars. He stated that a leaky brake booster could cause more pressure in the engine that the update could not handle. I know my booster is hissing and I have a new one coming. Do you guys think that even makes sense? So at the moment I have a latex glove over my dipstick housing to see if it blows the glove up. According to him, if after a pvc update the glove test still shows the glove filling up at idle, there is a good chance that the engine has too much internal wear.
Thoughts?
I'll do some pics of the glove test!!
