The BOV on the link has attachments on it to make a 1" inlet and 1" outlet so it can be vented back into the intake and not the atmosphere. Any ideas on it?

audi/vw use the same style OE bosch BPV as saab and that appears to be a recirculating one so it should work. But the question is how well will it work and perform being that its a cheaper knockoff

So, basically you can use any BOV as long as you can make it insted of venting into the atmosphere vent back into the intake? I did the same thing with a blitz BOV back on my eclipse before. I just cut down the outlet horn type thing and had it vent back into the intake. This should work right?

theoretically it should work, but as 2.3 said how well it will work depends as its a cheap knockoff. I would be concerned because you cannot change the spring or adjust it from the looks of it and even so it does not come with the three or four different springs the good ones come with. too low of a pressure and you will get fluttering and too high of pressure can cause cel to come on among other not so good things. but then again, im sure you could take it apart and change it, but i dunno

You will get what you pay for. If you search the forum, you'll find guys that buy the ebay knockoff and end up replacing it after a short period of time. Spend the $$$ on Bosch and ensure that you have a quality part.

The audi/VW ones are compatible, but i recommend the stratmosphere hyperboost line. Mine has been working since early 2005 which is more than I can say for both the knockoffs and OEM bosch ones.

Why? The hyperboost valves are cheaper and made in usa... I am a big fan of GS though, if you had yours go bad, nick would make sure you got a replacement. The stratmosphere one is a bit of a tight fit as well...

personally I went for a Forge motorsport dump valve. Made a huge difference to my 02 Aero. Cant sing its praises enough.

Save yourself frustration (and ultimately money) by getting a Forge or Stratmosphere. They are solid and frankly I don't see what can fail on them. Sure its a large initial investment, but they will outlast the damn car. Just remove it once the car dies and throw it in another. Or sell it and get a decent amount of money back; there will always be a market for these.

Just my $.02 :cheesy: (I personally run the Forge 007)

Can anyone post a picture of the Stratmosphere valve installed? I'm wondering how tight the fit really is. Thanks.

The forge can also be used as a blow off valve and adjusted to your boost level.Im using it this way ,love that sound! Oh its a 007 and it can be used as a hybred too. {recirculating and blow off] Sorry I guess its not the 007 but its a forge and its called a splitter valve ,the differance bieng it can be used as a recirculater or a splitter or a staight blow-off valve.
