Where is the location of the fuel cut-off switch, and how do you disconnect it? Are there any drawbacks if disconnected? I have a 1988 Saab 900T convertible, thanks!

First of all, sorry for my english.
The fuel cut-off switch is located at the left side, beetween the door and the steering wheel. You have to unbolt the central console and the lower part of the dashboard. You will see at the left some relay and the fuel cut off. It's a system with a air input via classical little saab air duct and for the output two wires. There is a bolt located in the middle of the system to regulate the max pressure accepted.
To disable the switch, you just have to join the two wire.

You can also just get to it through the speaker grille.

[edited to say on RHD cars anyway.....]
