I have a Saab 900 turbo convertible with a standard Saab radio-cassette player. My passenger door speaker seems to be going wrong, as it occasionally booms out bass, all distorted. I had a new speaker fitted, but this didn't solve the problem, and was then told that my amplifier might be broken. I spoke to Saab and they told me the amp was built into the radio unit on my car, so I have just had a new radio-cassette put in, but this hasn't solved the problem!!!

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem, as its driving me crackers?!!

Your in the wrong forum. This is for the 2004 + vert. It depends on what year your 900 is. There are two forums, classic 900 or NG900 94-98.
