I am so sorry everyone, I need to vent! :P
front suspension dampers leading to the whole struts needing to be replaced, and the crack bulkhead problem discovered, all in 2 weeks...
Time to say goodbye my 9-3? nine months ago I paid just £900 for the car, it's not really worth the money and trouble to do the repairs, and I am in Sweden at the moment, even the cheaper non specialist garages charge around £100/hr. Now I am pretty much stuck in a country where the car can't be scarped and pretty much not safe to drive. The other problem is I don't even know if anyone in Sweden except the SAAB factory would know how to fix the bulkhead.
What are my options?? Well, I am considering writing a nice letter to SAAB here in Sweden to see what they say, even if they just take some of the weight of my wallet I will consider it. Unfortunately to my understanding, consumer rights don't really seem to exist here, so chances are they will just write a nice letter back telling me to go away.
I like SAABs, which is why I find it hard to say bad things about them. On this occasion though, their stupid designs (both the suspension and the firewall) are causing my a huge amount of stress and unhappiness :( The cars from the "other" company never gave me this much trouble.
Sorry again to go off like this, I feel completely hopeless and I simple don't know what to do. :(
