I am in the process of doing an alarm fix (where it goes off randomly), and have replaced the batteries and capacitors. However, during the re-soldering process, I'm afraid one of the capacitor contacts may have been damaged. I'm not sure if it's ok or not.
I want to mount the alarm module in the engine area so I can have easy access if it is still bad after putting it back together. My question is the following: if the alarm goes off, will disconnecting the 3 (or 4)-wire connector to the module silence it?
